About Us
Founded in 2011 by a group of West African and American business leaders in Dallas, the West Africa-America Chamber of Commerce & Industries, USA (WAACCI) is a not-for-profit, bi-national membership organization dedicated to developing increased Dallas and West Africa trade and investment activities by assisting Dallas/ Ft.Worth and West African companies, professionals and the general public to better understand the business environments and cultural traditions relevant to successfully doing business in both regions.
WAACCI includes fifteen (15) West African countries: 1. Benin 8. Guinea-Bissau 15. Togo 2. Burkina Faso 9. Liberia 3. Cabo Verde 10. Mali 4. Cote d’Ivoire 11. Niger 5. Guinee 12. Nigeria 6. Gambia 13. Senegal 7. Ghana 14. Sierra Leone WAACCI conducts a wide range of activities such as seminars, conferences, workshops, executive briefings, trade missions and networking events. These activities facilitate a deeper understanding of the technological, economic, financial, demographic and cultural trends that are critical for successful economic development between West Africa and the Dallas/Ft. Worth region. WAACCI aids both American and West Africans companies in locating business partners for trade and investments and provides important governmental and business introductions for companies of all sizes in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region and in West Africa. WAACCI also provides advocacy, educational and leadership services to West Africans living in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region.
