President's Message
Welcome to the West Africa America Chamber of Commerce & Industries (WAACCI)!
The West Africa America Chamber of Commerce and Industries is the voice of the Dallas-West Africa business community. We are an advocate for Dallas-West African businesses and residents, and a hub of commercial, social and philanthropic activities in Dallas, Texas.
To Dallas-West African businesses, residents and visitors, WAACCI is an indispensable resource for information, advocacy, business network, and support. To the general public WAACCI is the community library of international and local attractions, activities and amenities.
The West Africa America Chamber of Commerce and Industries also recognizes the great business and trade opportunities for U.S. goods, investment and technology that exists in the West Africa region. Hence, WAACCI strives to connect and congregate West African businessmen and entrepreneurs with Dallas-West Africa business community and the community at large, on a meaningful and unique platform for business exchange, trade, and networking. By encouraging collaboration and cooperation between Dallas and the West Africa businesses and government and residents and other stakeholders, we help create a synergistic environment in which we all thrive.
WAACCI creates this synergistic environment by providing members with high value, practical and intensive programs offered throughout the year, such as in-depth commerce information, business authentication and facilitation, technical guidance, communication assistance, and business strategic alliance to conduct profitable business trade and investments.
The West Africa America Chamber of Commerce and Industries is an independent, non-profit, voluntary association of business people working to improve and invest in the City’s economic and civic vitality. We rely on membership revenues and event funds to finance our operations.
The organization is comprised of small businesses, retailers, hotels, restaurants, non-profit organizations, educational and health institutions, major corporations, professionals and many other types of businesses.
