Small Business Assistance Center
WAACCI strives to provide its members and the business community with business advisory services. Hence, we have developed an in-depth knowledge in bringing Dallas and West African companies together. In addition, WAACCI has a close working relationship both state and local government, other chambers of commerce and business leaders in various manufacturing cities in West Africa
Abidjan—the largest city in Cote d'Ivoire, still a West African nightlife mecca despite the country's political instability.
Abuja—the purpose built government capital of Nigeria is attractive, and—by Nigerian standards—remarkably safe!
Accra—an incoherent jumble of a city, the capital of Ghana, and one of the most accessible cities in West Africa for travelers.
Cotonou--Benin's biggest non-capital has the feel of a West African, urban version of the Wild West; you can buy anything, a city that is essential and enormous, lawless (but reasonably safe) market town and dirt cheap Rolexes of questionable origin and voodoo charms remain popular items for travelers.
Dakar—The capital of Senegaland the western most city in Africa.
Lagos—the largest city in Nigeria and the second largest in the whole of Africa is a chaotic, violent and generally terrifying, inhospitable place, an example of urban Africa at its worst.
Lomé— Togo's bustling capital, somewhat unfairly disliked by travelers and possibly the moto-taxi capital of the world.
Ouagadougou—the capital of Burkina Faso.
In an effort to expand the scope and improve its ability to help Dallas companies stay competitive, beginning 2013, WAACCI will provide small Dallas businesses with assistance in sourcing products from West Africa and in understanding the West African markets.
